I love this Intuit product! I have been using Turbo Tax for almost a decade and now all of my children use it, too. It has been instrumental in alleviating the stress that comes with filing taxes. I no longer wait until April to do it. I am a January filer :)

Seems to have gone backwards in performance.

For some reason, I wasn't able to see what I owed or the refund amount numbers until the very end. In the past, there was always a 0 dollars and then I could see the numbers change as deductions were added. It was kind of annoying not having that live feedback. In addition, When I was entering my HSA information in, I kept getting an error code "you must fix the errors before continuing." There was no helpful feedback on what the errors were or what box was triggering the error. Lastly, I clicked the box for getting the refund 5 days early, not knowing that 25 dollars would be deducted from my federal refund. That should have been more clearly relayed prior to the very end of the whole process. Not to mention, it was very frustrating having to figure out how to cycle back to get rid of that ridiculous "perk."

I've seen mixed reviews about Turbo Tax, but I find it to be the easiest option for me. I've been using it for years.

I've only been doing this for about eight years now, but I'll have to admit that it is definitely getting a lot better and easier to use. This year is like the fastest I have ever used, and it was so productive that I didn't have any issues at all this time.

Keeps tons of paperwork consolidated and saved for less clutter. The reviewing and fixing of forms can be difficult, but significantly easier than filing by mail.

Turbotax was extremely user friendly! If I wasn't sure about something I used the ? Feature and it texplained everything perfect. As a mom of 3 kids under 7 I was able to get my taxes done in less than an hour!
