I have not used turbo tax in years because of all the additional hidden fees and the constant attempts to upgrade my package. I tried it this year hoping the class action lawsuit and settlement would have made the company reconsider some of its underhanded practices. Instead I found even more fees including a 40$ fee just to pay using your refund which most places offer for free. This charge was not disclosed until the final page AFTER I selected pay using refund and I had to backtrack to choose an alternative. There are also a bunch of new required verification steps that are ridiculous. I did not have last years returns handy and had to delay filing until I could retrieve them because of ridiculous demands for exact numbers on a specific line that would get it rejected if it was wrong. Then trying to get my license information?!?! I will not use turbo tax again now that I have confirmed they have learned nothing.

Absolutely quick and easy! I was planning on filing for an extension through Turbo Tax and deal with the whole tax thing later. Once I was in there, it was so easy to move forward on completing this, I went for it and it was pretty painless.
