Saying Farewell to Turbo Tax After 5 Years

Turbo Tax use to be my go-to for tax season but after filing this year, I will not return. I usually don't have to pay anything when I file but Turbo Tax took $118 from me which includes fees they didn't mention before I filed. It's an easy way to file but over the years, this company has loss a love for its customers. Goodbye forever, Turbo Tax.

Never Again, Will I use Turbo Tax.

You log on to turbo tax and it says "Start for Free" but it is not actually FREE to file anything. You start tacking on $39 here then another $39 there, then now you have to add on an additional $40 "processing fee". Just a way to squeeze as much money as you can from every person who files. You get to "the end" of the filing and it states "Just one more thing" then you are finished filing. But then it says "just one more thing" 15 more times before you are actually done. I will never file with Turbo Tax again after this time, I was half tempted to erase all of my information and go file with someone else. Last year I did not use Turbo Tax because of all of the fees and how long it took and I wish I had remembered this year on why I did not use it. Next year I won't forget my experience I had this time and will not be returning. Very long process full of unnecessary fees that they do not tell you about until you have already committed to putting in your information.
