Free is fake. Ripping off college students

I think Intuit over charged me for my tax situation. I could have used the free filer but your software forced me to upgrade to Deluxe. An error came up that I had a foreign account. I have no such account. When I went back into the 1099-INT section I saw what I needed to upgrade because I had more than $500 in interest. I had just over that amount. The charges for filing Fed and State taxes took up nearly my whole refund. i'll try a competitor next year.
