They definitely try to get every penny they can out of you. Be careful they don't sell you a package you don't need. They ask over and over to upgrade to pay more. The way they do it is very misleading.
Don't pay for the service with your income tax. They will charge $40 for that service without really telling you. They get worse every year about these manipulation tactics. It's pretty sad. I'm sure they make a good amount of money off people who don't pay close attention.

Highway robbery - fee after fee ... What s joke... Take your piece of my hard work for what? Filing fee and fee for depositing my money?! Your literally taking nearly half of my return way to take more advantage of the middle class

TERRIBLE OVERPRICED SERVICE & OVER ADVERTISED

OVERPRICED FOR WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET. SHOULD ONLY HAVE TO PAY FOR THE PORTIONS OF DEDUCTIONS/CREDITS THAT ACTUALLY APPLY TO YOUR SITUATION. HAVE USED THE FREE VERSION FOR YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. WAS FORCED TO PAY THIS YEAR AND ENCOUNTERED ISSUES AND GLITCHES ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH NO HELP. WILL NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL BE SWITCHING TO ANOTHER SERVICE NEXT YEAR DUE TO THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. ALSO STOP TRYING TO UPSELL EVERYTIME I TRY TO MOVE TO NEXT STEP!

Paid $183 to file my taxes. Was not free. Took forever filing and I thought once I was finished, everything was free to file. Nope. Was $79 to file federal & $69 to file state. Never will file with Turbo Tax again
