I have used TurboTax for years. This year has been a struggle with the issue of the 1099 error looping back to disaster question. I was waiting on an email waiting to see if it’s fixed. I never received that. So I decided to go forward and file today.

Some features weren't available. Even though my itemized deductions were greater than the standard, it still defaulted to the standard, but did not make it obvious. Once I entered Itemized and that was greater than Standard, I initially selected that. But it defaulted back to Standard. It was only on another screen that I had to go back and select Itemized and then it changed dramatically. But it wasn't obvious at first why the refund value was so low. This seems like a scheme to pay more in taxes rather than attempt to save people money.
