Turbotax is a scam

Got to the end of my filling and on top of "deluxe" and an additional state filing fee because I work out of town, TurboTax charged me an additional arbitrary $40 fee because they feel like it. An automated system, and you input the information which is probably about as much work as anyone at Intuit Turbotax does and I have to pay $130. For what? For you to click a submit button on my behalf? I'll be looking at competitors and alternatives next year.

EASY PEASY

This is my second year using TurboTax as a busy college student, and I appreciate the ease of filing my taxes. With multiple checks and thorough reading, it took me less than 50 minutes. I especially like the explanations for each form, so I don't have to waste time filling out forms I don't qualify for. Additionally, it automatically worked to maximize my refund. It's a super simple process, I look forward to filing next year!
