Just a scam to get you to pay more money

Backed me into a corner and made sure to tell me I had no other options but to buy the deluxe and then once I got past that point it realized I never contributed my own funds to HSA and never withdrew from it. It just acknowledged that I contributed to an HSA (through my employer) and decided it couldn’t continue until I paid for the deluxe package to then tell me oh you contributed 0 and you withdrew 0 and the only number they needed from me was the number in line 12 on my W-2’s so on top of the $64 charge for filing in my state I got to pay a $79 charge for checking no on two boxes I tried to tell them never needed checked so I got to pay $143+ what I owed for my federal return and since I owed I had to pay every bit out of pocket and will only have made $22 but am currently out $143 until my return hits my account then I will have made my money back plus $22

I’ve used this platform and the prices to file are now ridiculous. I only used it this year because I forgot to file earlier. Next year it’s getting deleted.

I was a bit hesitant to do my taxes this year with the amount of upset I usually get from online tax filings but this year went by super smooth
