Useful app for self filing taxes

I did not use a live agent. There seems to be excessive reviews of the same things over and over. I appreciate the fact that this is available for me to file my taxes myself.

Very easy to file using Turbo Tax. I had a great experience filing this way and plan to use it in 2025.

I feel extremely scammed. It did not tell me the amount I would be charged until I finished my refund. It took half of my refund.

this year interface was hard to work with, l wanted to delete form for the state, it would not update so i could not e-file my state returns only the federal. i love the previous years, easy to work and gave suggestions as you entered your information. overall something that should have taken an hour, took 4 to 5 hours. Scrap this version and start over or go back to previous version

Turbotax is good for simple

It's usually pretty straight forward, but this year they didn't have my old records linked anymore even though I always file with them so I had to go through a lot more hoops to link to the IRS. They also told me I was required to upgrade at the very end and I had to try to figure out why exactly - it wasn't explained very well.
