The experience was good overall - it took me less than an hour todo my taxes. There are a number of options that cost money if you are not careful to read.

Zakiya really helped me with my tax return today. I couldn't figure out how to delete Form 5695 (after trying unsuccessfully to claim window improvements). She was quite helpful.
I will say that it's sometimes difficult to undo a step or "fix" a step with the program. Having a human being around is crucial, as the AI software doesn't really understand nuance, or its own shortcomings.

For someone that has NEVER done this before, turbo tax was amazing!!!!!!! Because i didn't know what the heck I was doing until my sister in law told me about it. Turbo tax walks you through it.

They knew everything I had deposited and everything I withdrew. THAT is something and just a bit scary, but It was good. Next year, I'll be ready to do this early.
