Problem with printing forms

Everything was fine until I attempted to print my TurboTax receipt. When I attempted that, it went to a blank page and I kept getting a message that the page was not responding. After pressing "WAIT" several times, I finally had to exit the page. After much hand wringing, I was afraid my file was lost, even though I had been charged for the service. Finally, I closed the window and logged in again from scratch. After logging in, I received info that I had already paid for the service and I should proceed to filing my returns. After filing both Federal and State returns, I was able to print my Federal return, but not the State. I received a message that my State return forms needed more time to complete and I could print them later. If the returns were already filed with the state, why was I not able to print them??
