Charging me an additional $40 to pay for the $49 to be taken out of my federal tax refund is unethical. Everything has become so expensive as it is and now I am forced to pay even more "hidden fees"; your company should be ashamed of itself for becoming so focused on making a profit instead of creating a platform that's available for everyone to use without needing to sacrifice a tank of gas just to file their taxes. Shame. This country used to have a high moral standing, creating opportunities for everyone equally without alienating those who make close to the poverty line. What has happened to you TurboTax? You've become just another corporate entity that avoids the reality of the world because you're solely focused on the spreadsheets and how to increase your profits. Stop wasting your money on advertising, we all know you exist. Are you losing customers? Gee, I wonder why?...
P.S. Don't bother responding to my review. Your excuse for why you charge what you charge isn't valid. Pay your CEO Sasan Goodarzi less, stop advertising, and reduce your products' prices. I bet you'll find some of your customers will comeback and they will bring others with them.
