Turbo tax was fast and easy. Which worked out great. The only upside down part was the amount it cost, but good thing Turbo gave me a small discount. Which worked out Great!

Pretty easy to use and to imput the data. I have been using it for years and years. Happy over all. I just dont like how my refunds keep getting smaller and smaller these past few years.

TurboTax taxes you with turbo ads

All this talk about TurboTax letting you file for free is not true at all. Yes, it's easy, and yes, I can file my simple return myself...but at every opportunity, they try and nickel and dime you by presenting you with options and add-ons that someone less internet savvy may accidentally click or select. This predatory approach is from start to finish, and every couple of screens, they try and get you to sign up for an additional service or entice you into getting money faster, which inevitably costs a fee. With the precarious nature of the paperwork, someone may be less inclined to hit the back button for fear of undoing all the work and information they are required to input....unless they want to pay a fee of course.
