There has to be a better way

The program tried to sneak in an extra $40 cost to filing. If the program can remember sensitive information it should remember my choice in services instead of constantly forcing the deluxe package, over and over and over again. I quit filing multiple times because it kept trying to get me to upgrade to deluxe.

It was. It sure was. I liked how TurboTax existed. I liked how it was only mildly agonizing to answer the same questions multiple times and how it only took forever to figure out how to deny assistance. I would have liked for the fee for paying with the return itself was... gone? 40.00 is enough to add a permanent fixture to my life, it shouldn't be the fee for some digital automated nonsense.
