I would recommend TurboTax to anyone with a W2! I don't know why any W2 employee would choose a different option. Easy, convenient, has been around for years, and reliable. I've been using TurboTax since my first job at 18yo (I'm 34yo now). This was the first year I've filed taxes while having a dependent. I was happy to see it was just as quick and easy to use and I got a lot of tax credits I didn't know I qualified for.
I had one year where I was a substitute health care worker with mixed W2 and I9's from multiple employers. Filing the I9's were a lot more complicated but I was able to consult an expert when I ran into problems and still got my taxes filed with TurboTax fairly easy.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I had a baby
