Awesome, but costly!

Everything was quick and easy. However, I feel like the fees were way too much for the simplicity of the return I was filing. I chose the cheapest option, and still ended up paying almost $150 for basically doing my own taxes.

Super easy to use! Lots of options for help from the specialists! Affordable! I can file my taxes anytime I am ready!

Hidden Fees

This service includes a ton of hidden fees. Also, turbotax free is not available to as many people as turbo tax claims. RT benefits disqualify you. ALSO, TT lobbies the fed to make filing harder.

Feel swindled.

It was not made clear that state filing fees were tacked on when paying for the TT Deluxe to file my federal nor did it show an amount total until after the purchase was completed. Only after my card information was entered and purchase completed was it clear the purchase included both TT Deluxe ($39) and State filing fee ($39) doubling the total amount.
