Turbo Tax is Terrible!

Turbo Tax is dripping with greed, after every page is another add for a tax adviser or identity protection, I was already forced to purchase the deluxe edition due to receiving unemployment. That's right they've gotten so greedy they are charging people who make less than 30k a year and lost their job, extra because the free version only includes a W2 form. I can't imagine a worse tax paying experience. Do not use this service try anything else and anyone else.

TurboTax is Misleading

The pricing for this app is very misleading. It advertises itself as free, but the actual cost isn’t revealed until after you’ve completed your return. By that point, additional fees are added without clear upfront disclosure.
I expected to pay around $60–$70, but was surprised to see an extra $39 for expert review and another $40 for e-filing added at the end. This lack of transparency makes the process frustrating and feels deceptive.
In the future, the total cost should be clearly communicated upfront so users can make an informed decision before investing their time. Based on this experience, I’ll likely use a different service next year.
