Turbo Tax simplified a my tax preparation with easy features and accuracy plus it was compatible with multiple devices

Fast but trash

Fast but trash. You punch in numbers, they calculate. But they bombard you with attempts to upsell. They take all of your data. You can't use their service without signing over all of your data. And their outdated payment system won't allow special characters even if your legal name (on your CC) contain them. Also, massive CC payment fee.

fairly straight forward

Easy to follow format, however, I would have liked to been able to print my state returns before having to pay for the electronic payment saving myself some money. It only costs me about 4$ to mail. At the very end, where it asked to review all the info on one or both returns, there is no back or continue button. I had to log out and then re-log on again.Kind of liked the old way better

Turbo Tax is very expensive for simple filing.

Turbo Tax never gave me any early indication that I need to pay $143 for Turbo Tax software. My Tax filing was a simple one, and at the very end Turbo Tax mentioned that I cannot file without paying $143. If I would have known this in the very beginning, I would have not used Turbo Tax.
