TurboTax is all we've got

AI features were consistently glitching and I was asked every 3 steps if I wanted to spend more money on upgrades. Literally all I want to do is finish my taxes and still be able to buy groceries tomorrow.

Too many upgrade ads

There's so many instances in between where they're trying to make you upgrade so that you have to pay for the deluxe service even if you already did not want it from the very beginning. It is really annoying and it is a waste of time.

Using the Intuit Turbotax form was a smooth and straightforward experience. The layout was clear, the steps were easy to follow, and I was able to complete everything without any confusion or frustration. It made the entire process feel quick and stress‑free. I’m fully satisfied with how simple it was to use, and I’ll definitely be using it again in the future.

Deceptive fee practices

Turbotax deceptively adds expert/deluxe assist during the process/at end without clear consent from the client making it difficult to decline or figure out how to downgrade to where you actually started, making opting out of a more expense package intentionally difficult. I will use a different service going forward.
