Turbotax is a scam

Took way longer than the estimate and then they make you buy the deluxe package which costs $180 to file after going through the whole return as the "Free" version. Scam

The return started to the fee turbo tax, but I was charged $79. How did it go from the fee version to a $79 charge??

Not user friendly

I've used TurboTax desktop for years. This online system is not as user friendly and cumbersome. It was confusing and did not let me e-file due to some needed code from the IRS. My information from previous years is in Turbo Tax so it seems like you should be able to provide this. I will not be doing this again.

Used before. I always come back

The directions are easy to follow. It took exactly the amount of time that was estimated at the beginning. We have used TurboTax for the last eight years. I always come back to them. The prices increased over the years. That’s to be expected, but it would be nice to know how much it’s going to cost before you start.
