Stop Pushing the Expensive service

Paid with my card and still had a $35 charge on top. You used to be able to pick what level of service you wanted to pay for before you started. I opened to expert level and couldn't lower the level until I already started my return, and it's not clear that you can do that at all when you start, so you don't know if you're going to be stuck with the more expensive service.

the step by step guidance was the best feature. I am familiar with the tax filing processes. it took longer to find my last year's return than it took to prepare the 2025 tax returns.
