Fees got even more hidden and ridiculous. Disgusting billing practices. I have to use this to make sure it's done right, and you do that service in a correct and streamlined manner, so it's an unfortunate shame that you price gouge the poor. Shame.

TurboTax used to be better than this.

I found this experience a lot worse than TurboTax used to be. I frequently got stuck in form loops revisiting the same pages over and over and also had to re-enter my email address/phone/contact/address multiple times. TurboTax used to be better than this. I was really simple this year - I lived abroad the entire year. Should have been quick and easy.

VERY Frustrating

Taxes are horrible and it was very confusing to find forms like 1099 misc, questions on my drivers license information was alarming. At one point I wasn't even sure this is legit! The pricing of having me pay for the federal tax portion was one price and then adding state wasn't clear

Turbo Tax is Deceptive

The TurboTax application is deceptive. My total income was under $20K, I signed up for free TurboTax and they charged me $286. It is a tremendous scam to file taxes in this country. I shouldn't have to pay almost $300 when I don't even make $30K to file a tax return and get my own money back.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
