Better than TaxAct

It's definitely better than TaxAct. However, it made it difficult to go back and forth between areas. And it asked me to confirm I had reviewed my state taxes before it gave me a chance to actually review them. I had to ask their AI assistant how to even do that. At no point does it prompt you to actually review the forms that will be sent. (I you have to go to a separate area and click Print.) Also, for the a state form, I entered an ID that was directly copied from the county, but it wouldn't accept it and wouldn't tell me what was wrong. I finally had to call to get their expert help.
However, the expert help interaction was great. I called on a Sunday night, there was a 20 minute wait, but they had a callback. She was pleasant and resolved the issue quickly.
I'll use it next year, but I really dislike their navigation during the filing and review piece.

Hard to change and figure out how much they'll charge. It automatically made me chose the "Delux" option and was confusing to change it to the free option. Also a fee to file state that i wasn't aware about untill all the information was entered.

Will Not Be Returning

My return was initially rejected due to a software error on TurboTax's end. The code was F1040-978. It was never communicated that that was what happened and how I should fix it. Every person affected should have been notified, but instead I had to call and speak with someone to figure that out. I should not have had to pay $130 for this service, given I did everything right on my end and your software screwed it up.
However, I will say the woman I spoke with was very kind and helpful.
