I find Turbo Tax to be very frustrating and their practices to add more features are predatory. I have been using TurboTax online for years and I do not think I will be using it again at this point.

Frustrating

Extremely frustrating as would not let me e-file unless one box was filled in, but I called 1099-DIV company and they said nothing to enter for TIN. Turbo Tax expert didnt know how to help. I ended up just manually importing, but took me 3 hours to resolve and TT expert did not know how to help

Forced to use a credit card

I tried multiple times to pay using direct payment from my checking account, payment plan with IRS or send a check and it would not go through. It forced me to use a credit card number and pay the fee. NOT happy about the $45 fee for using a debit card.

Turbo Tax makes it easy for me to complete the task of preparing and filing taxes. I like the fact that it walks me through the situations that may apply to me. This year, I was pleased to be able to choose the standard deduction up front rather than taking time to fill in all the possible deductions, only to find out that I didn't need to do so.
