$128 simply to file one schedule!

I started the free filing process, but it was never disclosed what it costs if you unexpectedly have a schedule. I didn't know that energy appliance credits were a separate schedule. Essentially, I paid $128 for a $600 credit.
We all know that this company lobbied against having free and accessible tax preparation through the federal government like other industrialized countries do.
