Turbo tax is easy to follow when you do not have a lot of information to put in.

Usability is Top Tier

Filing taxes was so easy, I loved that turbotax provided feedback on what everything meant and the return I was receiving. Login was so easy, love the code option if you forget your password. I paused my filing and received a call to see if I needed help which I appreciated.

What's the hurry for payment. I had issues with filing but Turbo Tax was quick to charge for the return before I can file. Collect your payment - for the free tax filing after all of the steps are processed.

Nightmare

Have used Turbo Tax download for the past two years. This year I tried the online version and it was a nightmare. Started in mid-february and the state return is still not correct (03/27/2026).
An error in the program doubled the state credit for T-Bill interest, not taxable at the state level. Then on another like it deducted the correct amount of T-Bill interest, effectiverly taking three times the correct credit.
Not able to just view each return without taking way too many steps to see it. I refigured the state return from online state forms and the return will not change with all of the corrections so I finally efiled it and will see what the state comes back with.
