they say to file for free but when you have more than what they want to handle they take money from you by making you pay for the deluxe and then if you pay with your tax return they charge you even more

What is the whole point in trying to get a refund when you have to literally pay money to do your refund. I wasn’t expecting to get much back to begin with. But it was just laughable to see TurboTax take 75% of what I received in my refund to pay for their “services”. Just a scummy service I wish I didn’t have to use to do my taxes
