TurboTax loves profit!

TurboTax is easy and straight forward with the information needed in order to file taxes. I rate it a 1/5 stars because it constantly tells you to upgrade although it is not necessary in some cases. The upcharge for utilizing the website is absurd. I understand everything is propaganda and for profit, but the company shall keep full transparency with the flat rates they charge for using their website to file.

Turbo Tax works perfectly

TurboTax was an excellent experience for me. The app is very easy to use and its features guide you step by step through the entire tax filing process. It helped me complete my taxes on my own with confidence. It also works smoothly on any device, which makes everything even more convenient. I highly recommend it.

TurboTax WASTED MY MONEY!

Wasted my time and money filing with TurboTax instead of Freetaxusa. The fact you advertise as being specifically cheaper than Freetaxusa is complete false advertising. Didn't even give me the option to check if I qualified for the tax refund advance before using TurboTax which was the only reason I would have used TurboTax. All said and done I wasted about $70 more on TurboTax than I would have spent on Freetaxusa and didn't even qualify for the refund advance. Not to mention being forced to set up a Credit Karma money account took forever because Credit Karma makes it almost impossible to update b your phone number and address if you haven't used it in years and have switched phones and phone numbers. And yes, being charged $40 just to use your own bank for a refund is COERCION at the very least. Most grown adults have their own banks and don't want to add a new one just to keep from being charged a ridiculous fee! Altogether, TurboTax sucks and railroads you into giving up your choices before you can decide if it's worth bothering with. From start to finish between TurboTax and Credit Karma and all of its login and sign up drama then having to download multiple apps and having to deal with support chat instead of a real person this took more than 7 hours don't let their take timer fool you
