TurboTax is faster

I looked information up other that using TurboTax for clarification on a 1099-R. Oregon has another spin on it and I went with IRS info.

Not so thrilled with the online system

First time filing online (used desktop version for over 10 years). I don't know if it is due to tax law changes or what, but it was way more convoluted filing online this year. Took me easily twice as long to complete my taxes and downloading 1099's etc from my computer didn't really save much time over entering manually as not all of the info came in correctly.

Turbo Tax free is not free

It was supposed to be free but the system requires payment during the process. Also, it is not compatible with my iMac which is annoying.
