New Format

Im being gracious - I have been using TurboTax since day one and was always able to complete the process within a couple sessions. I was very frustrating with the new format. I have a very similar financial situation as the last several years. The XXXXX 1099-R form hasn't changed for the past 17+ years and I was questioned about it several times after I said it was correct. We have paid taxes on the taxable amount without question for that timeframe. I spent most of the day getting an ID.E number in order to summit on-line. Thanks for listening - I hope next year will be smoother.

Good, but you can do better

It's hard to use in some occasions, it makes you do the same things over and over again.
It has bugs that need to be fixed (the information does not upgrade correctly and you need to check it).
I had to re-do my taxes because of a mistake coming from this application.
However, despite that, it is a good tool to do taxes because you can do them yourself if you have some knowledge regarding accounting.
Still, I might consider using other programs next year just to see if I can save time, effort, and pacience, since this program is hard to use.

My experience with TurboTax is fairly good. It was easy and simple filing my taxes, but the only complaint I have is that it kept trying to require me to fill in my state ID number, in which my state doesn't have state income tax.

Never had to do that before

This year the marketplace entry caused me problems and there was no way to fix it. I only had it for three months and there was no Monthly Second lowest cost silver amounts but it would not process unless I put something in. I ended up adding a single penny for the three months in column B in order to efile.
