Extortion in every sense of the word

I use TurboTax because intuit lobbied the government to abolish the free e file system. It is effectively a private tax I now pay to intuit.

This was my first time filing my taxes, and honestly, I was really nervous going into it because I didn’t know what to expect. TurboTax made the entire process way easier than I thought it would be. Everything was explained step by step in a way that was simple and easy to understand, even for someone with no prior experience. I liked how the questions were clear and straightforward, and it felt more like being guided through the process rather than just filling out confusing forms on my own.
TurboTax also helped make sure I didn’t miss any important information, which gave me peace of mind knowing my taxes were done correctly. Whenever I felt unsure, the explanations and tips were very helpful and reassuring. Overall, TurboTax made filing my taxes feel less stressful and much more manageable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone filing for the first time or to people who want a smooth, user-friendly experience.

Turbo Tax Became Expensive

It's makes filing your taxes easy, but it's expensive. TurboTax used to be cheap, but it costs more than 1/4 of my refund just to file, without any of the additional services.

Super simple! Year after year. All i have to do is sign in and verify. Period. Half the price of setting an appointment and wasting time in an office where I have been charged almost triple the price in the past. 100% See ya next year.
