Simple and Direct

For majority of people this software just works and is very streamlines. Maybe if you are self-employed and have a lot of receipts or special cases you may want to seek a direct tax agency. This should work very well for 90% of filers.

The amount of sales pitching to spend more money is a bit much. It would be nice considering how many years I've used TurboTax if there was a setting to turn them off. And if there is a setting, not hide it away because regulation doesn't require it to be prominent. Also, the company lobbying against the free file reform 20 years ago is still wild. The process is fine, but the choices are wild.

I have done my own tax's on here for a few years now. This year was by far the hardest! It wouldn't take me to the problem I was Having with my state tax. I think it would be so much more helpful if you could take me to the problem and like high light it or something!
