Turbo tax was better in 2024

Navigating the process of entering 1099R was very confusing for me at first. Last years entry process was much easier. The charges for the tax document was not clear to me. I did not understand that there would be $88 plus the $40 filing fee. I still am not clear if my Michigan tax form will be filed electronically.

Online version of Turbo Tax is awful!

I've used TurboTax for years and I absolutely hate this version!!! If I cannot buy a CD in the future, I will find another program to use. Every year I do most of my family members' taxes - wondering if I can do multiple tax returns with this product! Probably not since every page (just about) you are asking me to purchase something else. I'm furious that I cannot open the tax return from 2024 for the grandchild I just completed a return for. We had to take more time to go to the IRS site and get a transcript of that return. I'm also frustrated that I cannot change the tracking and notification email and phone number to her email and phone number. I also do not like that AI is being employed - humans are getting very lazy - and charging more $$$. This is the worst year in my experience with Turbo Tax - it may be my last!
