Going downhill

I've been using it for years and it's been great. Until this year. I came back to enter our ID information and it took my husband off my return and put me as single after I had already paid. It changed the total we are getting back, even after I fixed everything. This will most likely be the last year we use turbotax. It's too expensive to be making these errors.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I had a baby

easy to use, takes awhile to do, but needs more clarity on the major price increase at the end

Quick and easy

Finished in less than 1 hour because I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and most of my info is already on file. My 1 complaint is there is a fee for everything these days...getting ridiculous!

I felt confident doing my simple tax return myself and felt pushed around by TurboTax's constant reinforcement to upgrade to the deluxe service, which was unnecessary in my opinion. I have used turbo tax for many years, and more and more so is the pushing to upgrade, pushing to pay for the higher services which do little if anything for someone like me, except take some money from me, to give to TurboTax. 2 stars.

Alot of hidden fees. Looks like you do your taxes and they have all the discounts to complete your return then
all of a sudden, its 145 dollars to file. Unless you get one of credit karma accounts.
