It is such a disappointment to be led on at the idea of free tax filing then you get the end and are told you are "schedule 2" and MUST purchase the DeLuXe EdiTiOn for like $49-$79. But wait, you then are forced to purchase or file elsewhere. So you purchase the deluxe edition. But wait, you then have additional filing fees at the very end. Probably around $50-$150 if you make an poor mans wage. But wait, you can pay out of pocket (around $75-$100) if you pay now through your own bank account.
At what point do we make this bogus way of life change. Covid made it so we dont unite. We are doomed.

Turbo Tax is wonderful! It guides me through the whole process easily & provides answers to questions I may have. Ive been using Turbo Tax for years now & wouldn't use anything else!

way too many questions for only filling out a 1040. returns weren't free even when only filling out info from a 1040. Was told i had a schedule 3
