Interface needs work.

The guidance for inputting the income documents needs work. A 1099-R got duplicated, one empty and one correctly filled out, during the review, they were not identified which was empty and which was filled out, the final review before filing identified which one, was able to go back and delete the empty one. This wa very frustrating while doing the income input phase, I decided to just go on and see if I could correct it later.

Helping independent people stay independent!

The guided flow is fairly easy to follow along with, which makes the while tax filing experience much easier to complete with confidence. I had to go over some of the same parts of the flow more than a few times due to accidentally hitting the back button and then again, but am not sure why, as the continue buttons took me in a few circles between the website and the Credit Karma app, but ultimately I was able to complete filing my taxes with minimal hassle.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbo Tax Review for 2025

Not the same formats as the regular Turbo Tax forms I've used for the past 10 or so years. They should look like the previous ones. I was frustrated and confused because of this as Federal or State Teacher formats are NOT just W2 forms. The numbering was of, i.e. Box 2, or Box 4.
Once I figured out how to get this done, it took about an hour to get the form filled.
You need to have a side for "Explanations" for the inputs. Other than that it was OK to use this year.
