[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this oral health care item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m glad I had the chance because it’s quickly become a part of my daily routine.
Overall Thoughts. My first impression was how compact and lightweight this flosser is, which makes it really easy to handle. After using it consistently, I’ve definitely noticed my gums feel healthier and my whole mouth feels cleaner than when I was just relying on traditional floss. There’s a noticeable freshness that lasts longer throughout the day.
Water Pressure and Clean. The water pressure feels strong enough to give a deep clean but not so harsh that it’s uncomfortable. Compared to regular flossing, it’s gentler on my gums and reaches places I know I was missing before. I actually look forward to using it because my teeth feel squeaky clean afterwards.
Convenience. The compact size is a big win—it fits easily on my bathroom counter and is small enough to toss in a travel bag without taking up much space. It’s made sticking to my routine much easier since I don’t have to wrestle with floss or take extra time.
Features. I really appreciate the thoughtful features on this flosser. The long battery life means I can go days without worrying about charging. The multiple nozzles are a nice touch too, especially if you’re sharing with family members. And the built-in timer cues help me stay consistent and make sure I’m flossing long enough each time.
Final Verdict. The Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 has made flossing quicker, easier, and more effective for me. It’s compact enough for travel, powerful enough for a thorough clean, and packed with convenient features that make it a no-brainer addition to my oral care routine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Thank you, Stellar!
I'm a twice daily teeth brusher and daily flosser. I typically use string floss but I have used other water like flossers in the past. I also have an automatic tooth brush that lets me know when I've been brushing the recommended 2 minutes.
Pros: Physically I love the design, I got the lavender color which is one of my favorites. The machine itself is as big as cell phone and much wider to hold more water. It's very easy to handle in. The buttons are soft and easy to use.
I love that the plastic flosser can detach with an eject button and go inside the machine to keep it sanitary and help with the compactness of the design. It basically was the size of having a lotion or sunscreen in my toilet tree cabinet.
This product also came with two replacement heads. I really love the head with the white, plastic pointy part on the end. I felt like I had better control over the water stream in certain areas in between my teeth and my gums. It also surprisingly reached my back teeth which are hard to get through other flossing methods.
Usage: It's very user friendly. I gently pulled down a clear case at the bottom which became a water container and I'm able to fill up the water in the hole behind the flosser head. There's a drain inside the cup that siphons the water to the flosser efficiently. Overall the machine is very intuitive and easy to use. I liked that there were three different options: sensitive, pulse, and stream. The sensitive option was my favorite and allowed me the best control when cleaning out the plaque in between my teeth.
Cons: Water flow: unfortunately, I had a lot of issues with the water flow. I prefer to have a steady stream of water that I can used to navigate in between my teeth. When trying out this device multiple times, I had an issue with all three different modes creating a water pulse of varying strength. Even the sensitive option was still pulsing and made it hard to navigate the flosser to go in individual spots in my gums & teeth.
Due to the varying pulsation of the water, it would reflect off of my teeth and completely spray my entire bathroom mirror / backsplash area. I couldn't even keep my eyes open and keep the machine going to test the timer option because of the spray being so overwhelming. I hoped that this compact version would be nice and quick/easy to use but due to the water flow situation I'm unable to floss my teeth properly without being in the shower with clothes I don't mind getting wet, goggles, and a mirror. I don't know if my particular flossing machine caused the issues or if this is standard for this device.
Overall: 2 stars Unfortunately, I can't use this device on a regular basis, which I'm really sad about. If there's a way the water flow problem could be fixed to more of a steady stream, especially in the sensitive option- I'd use this on a daily basis.
I will go back to my string floss for now. I'm grateful for the opportunity to try this item and if I could receive knowledge on how to have a steady flow, I would definitely make this apart of my daily routine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000 to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I've been using this compact flosser every night after brushing my teeth for about a week now, and I love it! Previously, I typically flossed at least 4-5 times a week, but since I started using this water flosser, I have made it a nightly routine after brushing my teeth. It comes with both a standard nozzle and comfort nozzle, but I've primarily been using the standard nozzle as I don't have very sensitive gums and feel as though it has given a deeper clean. I feel like it leaves between my teeth and gums feeling almost as clean as after a dental cleaning, which I didn't always get with normal flossing.
With it being a compact, wireless water flosser, I wasn't sure how the water pressure would be, but it exceeded my expectations. I also especially like the fact that it takes up barely any space on my bathroom counter and I can easily travel with it, if I'd like.
The only thing that took me a couple days to get used to was the awkwardness of how to hold the flosser while using it, especially when cleaning my back teeth. However, once I got used to it, it wasn't much of an issue.
I have yet to have to re-charge it with daily use over a week, which has been nice. I'll be curious to see how long the battery will last on one charge!
Overall, I would definitely recommend this water flosser!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stella Panels for providing me with this Flosser for review. As a girl who admittedly HATES to floss and currently has braces, I really love this flosser. It is super easy to quickly fill up with water and I love that when it’s empty, it collapses to be compact for travel. I also love that the nozzle can flip upside down and rest inside the flosser itself so it doesn’t get lost. It comes with two nozzles. While I don’t notice much of a difference between the two, I wish they were slightly more angled to get between my braces and wires a little better. Once I get my braces off, I don’t think the angle will be a problem. This flosser has three different pressure modes and I personally prefer the stronger one since I’m often using it to get food out of my braces. I wish the pressure were a little bit stronger, honestly. I really like the built in timers, as it makes sure I don’t rush through my flossing routine. So far I’ve had no issues with the battery life. Overall, this is a great flosser for someone who doesn’t like traditional flossing and wants a compact flosser that’s convenient for travel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dentist has been urging me to try a travel water flosser, so I was excited to receive this Sonicare flosser through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It comes with three modes—Clean, Pulse, and Sensitive—plus both a standard and a sensitive nozzle. Since I have gums that bleed easily, I was grateful for the sensitive options. With the standard nozzle, the Sensitive mode felt too weak, but Clean mode made my gums bleed. The best combo for me was the sensitive nozzle on the Clean setting—it struck the right balance of pressure and gentleness. I also like how compact it is for travel and that it fits easily in my carry-on. The tradeoff is the smaller reservoir; I need two refills to get through my whole mouth. Overall, this is good for travel, but won't replace my home flosser.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this oral health care item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was my first time using a water flosser despite it being recommended by my dentist for years. I’m so thankful that my first experience was with the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser 1000. When I received the box I was happy to see that the flosser is indeed compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space in my bathroom counter. I read made sure to read the manual since I had no prior experience with water flossers. The manual was easy to read and setup was a breeze. The flosser comes with a power cord for charging but no power adapter. It was nice that the flosser came charged so I didn’t have to wait to use it. The flosser comes with 2 nozzles and states to replace them after 6 months so essentially you’re covered for the whole year which is very cost effective. The flosser has an easy to fill reservoir that holds a good amount of water. I have to fill it twice for each complete floss but I don’t mind because it’s easy and allows for the device to be compact. The manual said to start with sensitive mode for beginners which I did. There is also a pulse and a clean mode. The modes provide a decent amount of pressure that felt comparable to treatment at a dental office. I was skeptical of a water flosser being able to truly remove any food residue or plaque but to my surprise it did just that in under a minute. My teeth feel smooth and clean each time I use it and I feel like my gums are healthier. Disposable flossers and nylon floss can sometimes leave food particles behind but not with the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser. Water flossing can be a little messy and it did take me a few tries to get a good routine down but it was worth it and I feel like the Philips Sonicare Compact Flosser provides the perfect tool to achieve a clean, healthy mouth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried my new compact flosser, I immediately noticed just how strong it was! The intensity was surprising, but I soon got used to it. I found that it was actually the best thing for my teeth and gums! Philips includes a Sensitive mode, which I used to slowly get myself accustomed to their flosser’s strength. Once I worked my way up, my teeth and gums had never felt more clean. It quickly and altogether removed the hard to brush plaque from my teeth! My favorite part about this Philips Flosser is that it works wonderfully for anyone with permanent retainers or braces!
The water pressure and overall clean was much more efficient than regular floss. It didn’t cause my gums to bleed and cleared away more plaque.
One I got my flosser properly set up, it was fairly convenient to use on a daily basis. I could simply fill the tank to the water line and turn on. If I were to travel, it’s easy enough to take apart the pieces to make it more compact.
The convenient features on this flosser are wonderful, especially the long battery life. As a person who doesn’t love having cords all over my counters, I love that I can charge my flosser and put the cord away for a long while.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this oral health care item.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this out! I’ll be honest, I HATE flossing. Traditional floss has always caused me discomfort because my gums are extremely sensitive and prone to bleeding. This water flosser has completely changed that. The pulse and clean settings were a bit harsh, but I’m sure I’ll get used to them. The sensitive setting with the comfort tip worked best for me personally. It’s gentle enough that it doesn’t cause irritation or bleeding, but it still leaves my mouth feeling very clean. I have to refill the tank a few times during use because of the compact size. But I don’t mind since it doesn’t take up much counter space. The battery life has been impressive too. I’ve been using it daily for about a week and haven’t had to charge it yet. My only complaint is the button placement. I’ve accidentally bumped the buttons during use and changed modes without meaning to. I’ve also turned it on by accident while assembling the tank, which has resulted in a few unexpected water sprays. All in all, it does the job, and I’m really happy that I finally found a solution that works for my sensitive gums.
