Scheduling should work better

I need to schedule the Signature to operate during a specified time period at a specified fan speed. I have to take it off its default ‘Auto’ mode to get it to turn off at a specific ‘off’ time. When it comes back on at the specified ‘on’ time, it comes on in ‘Auto’ mode at a lower fan speed. I have to then manually set the fan speed I want. This manual act takes it out of ‘Auto’ mode, which then enables it to turn ‘off’ at the scheduled time. My 211i Max model’s controls operate so much better.

Above Average: Missing Some Features

Firstly, we upgraded to Blue Signature line, from the BluePure 211i Max. We loved the air purifier in our bedroom, and we often shut off the display from the Blueair app. The signature model does NOT allow you to dim the display to 0%, it only allows you to dim it to 10%. 10% is better than nothing, but the air quality indicator is blue when the air is clean, lighting up the bedroom through the night. Yes, there is a night mode, but we prefer to run the purifier at a higher speed, it produces white noise which we enjoy, and the night mode is just too silent. Additionally, the wave to wake feature, on the few nights we tried night mode, our ceiling fan kept waking up the air purifier and turning on the lights showing "Air Is Clean". At the end of the day, it would be nice to be able to shut off the lights. It's truly the only thing holding this back from perfection. Even the noise the air purifier makes is more pleasant than the older models. I'd love to replace all of the ones in our house with the signature line, but not being able to turn off the display and run it at the fan speed we want leaves something to be desired. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed in an update, but otherwise the unit is stellar.

Perfect

It has all the features that I wanted and does a fantastic job of eliminating odors, which is what I was hoping for. It increases speed as needed and I really like the added benefit of AirSense, which refreshes air twice a day. It looks great and doubles as a table. Very well executed.

A little disappointed

I think perhaps my expectations were too high?The unit is beautiful. I love the auto feature for self adjusting to air quality. It is very quiet and unintrusive on the lower settings. But I bought both a large unit for the living area and a medium unit one for the bedroom. I also bought the special allergy filter. The entire reason for the purchase was to help relieve the pollen allergies that I have had. I presumed that when it is supposed to remove 99.9% of allergens that my symptoms would largely disappear, but this has not been the case.Itchy eyes continue Sneezing continues Coughing continuesIt’s hard to say if there’s been a degree of improvement because I don’t have any way to gauge the exterior pollen count. But the unit continues to show I have clean air. Even when I open my doors and windows it tells me my air is clean. But I’m still coughing and sneezing, etc. The only time the unit accelerates its work is if I’m cooking, which is great, but that’s not really why I bought it.

Cat hair has disappeared!

It has a very annoying smell every time it’s on. It may make the air better but it doesn’t let me actually enjoy the clean air because of the weird smell.
