Our neighbor burn wood next-door and it caused our house to smell like smoke really bad. The blue air purifier light turned red and noticed the air quality indoors was bad. Within an hour, the air quality was good again and we could breathe once more. We love it so much, we are thinking about getting one for the bedroom as well.
Just received the Blue Signature Large, to go along with the Medium I have. For some unknown reason Blueair did not include a display sensor for TVOC's like on the Medium model. So one does not know the level of VOC's or if the pruifier reacts to smells. I will see how it does removing ordors, probably not as effective as the medium model. More than likely this will be returned. Why this desirable feature was deleted from the more expensive model is not understandable. Pay more get less?
