Programmable issues

I just purchased this week, I chose Mr. Coffee programmable because of my confidence in the product/company. I am not very happy with this model! I set the programmable feature every day, but it never turns on at the time set. I push the button to set, it starts flashing, I set the time, then nothing happens in the morning. It does not have an indicator to show if it has accepted or set the program, so the assumption is that it is set. I have even tried unplugging and resetting, still nothing. Looked for the instruction manual online, nothing for BVMC-PC12BL2-NP, because the one in the box was not very helpful. Not very happy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffee maker sucks!

Bought this last nite to replace broken 5 cup Mr Coffee pot. Should have known to switch brands. Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase. Just like all other comments...the Brew Later button doesn't work. NO INSTRUCTIONS listed in the one page insert in box to explain how to set it. NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL ONLINE EITHER. I'm not wasting my time any further. As soon as the store opens I'm taking it back for a refund and will buy a different brand. I DON'T NEED THE GRIEF WITH THIS SUBSTANDARD COFFEE POT. To the manufacturer-quit apologizing as if you didn't know of these issues! Read your own website reviews and PULL THIS PRODUCT FROM THE SHELVES. Go back to the drawing board with the feedback on this site and fix the problems before marketing it again. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. THIS IS INSANE!

One Week old and Won’t Brew

Bought about a week ago. Right from the beginning it would randomly start beeping for no reason. Now it won’t brew and I can’t do anything. The Later message is lit and there is a 2 in the display. I’ve unplugged several times and still goes back to the same display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor design

I have always bought Mr.Coffee coffee makers and have always been satisfied with them. I just bought this one, it works fine but the design really sucks. 1st, the fill lid opens from the side, right to left. Big inconvenience for me, I’m left handed. 2nd, when the lid is open it is between my sink and the coffee maker, I don’t have the counter space to put it anywhere else. If I would have noticed this before I bought it, I would have left it on the shelf. 3rd, the viewing window isn’t that easy to read. Whoever designed this isn’t very good at designing. As soon as I find one that works for me, I’ll throw this pile in the garbage.

Great for what I want

I bought this maker so I could put in some fresh ground coffee, push a button and get a good cup of coffee. It does exactly that. Very happy!

Great Coffee pot!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really, really like the Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker!! I really like that it has a reusable, washable filter. The ability to pause brewing to grab a cup of coffee is awesome!! I also like that it programmable, no more waiting for coffee in the morning, I LOVE this feature, and it will automatically shut off after 4 hours, so no more worrying about if I shut the coffee pot off. GREAT product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review is on the Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. This Coffeemaker has some great features. It has a brew now or later that allows you to set brewing ahead of time, (before you go to bed), and you can have the coffee when you wake up first thing in the morning. It comes with a reusable filter, which is very handy, and It also has a Grab-A-Cup Auto Pause feature. It allows you to stop the brewing cycle to pour a cup of coffee, and then continue brewing until it is done brewing the rest of the pot. I really like this feature because my single cup coffee maker just broke and this has both coffee makers features in one, (the single cup brewer and the 12 cup brewer). I am able to grab my cup of coffee and go on my way, and the rest of the family will have theirs in the pot waiting for them. The coffeemaker will automatically shut off after 4 hours, so you don't have to worry about forgetting about it. I really like this coffee maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!
