finding a manual

I just bought this model 3 days ago because I like to have my coffee brewed by the time I get up. There is no manual with the coffee maker. If you go to the site for instructions and manuals you will NOT find the model listed on the bottom of the machine. Thanks to another old review, I found a manual, and instructions for the "delay brew" function. It is under 12 cup, PC12_19ESM1. Really very frustrating. Almost returned the coffee maker to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally figured out how to set delay start!

I bought this machine yesterday and was disappointed when it didn't start brewing at 5:30 AM, as I "thought" I had set it. I finally found the manual listed under the wrong description...12 Cup PC12_19ESMI. It doesn't say programmable but when you click on the link you will see this programmable coffee maker. Originally, I set the delay start time (the white light blinked) and then the light just went out. This is why it didn't work the next day. After reading the above manual I noted you have to push the delay start button a second time after you set the start time. It then changes to a solid white light to indicate it is set. You have to reset it each day. I assume this solves the problem and I will have coffee at 5:30 AM tomorrow. It would be a lot easier if Mr. Coffee simply dropped a piece of paper in the box explaining how to set the delay start time button correctly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pause function does not work

Like others I purchased this maker because Mr. Coffee has been a dependable brand in the past. This maker is suppose to have an "auto pause" which it does not. Coffee comes spilling out all over counter. Also it's very hard to tell how much water to put in the water chamber for brewing. We have our pot located right next to the sink, it's easy to fill right from our spout instead of filling the pot and pouring water from that. I'm going to try and return or replace this model. I would not recommend.

Decent coffee, no instruction manual

I needed a new coffee maker because the carafe in my old one broke. I have had several Mr. Coffee machines, but this is the first with no manual in the box. That is unacceptable. Also, the model number of my coffee maker is not listed on their website for getting instructions. Really awful that I have to spend so much time looking for a manual online and still not finding one! Model BVMC-PC12BL2-NP. If you want a better review, send me the instructions.

I received this product as a gift from my sister who lives in USA... I was very happy coz I enjoyed the coffee two times then everything changed.NOW, I press the BREW NOW botton and nothing happen although the green light is ON...what's wrong with it...any help plz

We're sorry to hear that it's not brewing. To remedy this issue, try unplugging the machine and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. You can also try to plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. We suggest to not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the machine's performance.

Leaks water every time we make coffee

I bought this particular unit because of both the low price and the simplicity. It worked great for the first few uses, then the glass pot cracked right next to the handle. After inspection, it was of no surprise, the handle is made of cheap hollow plastic, flimsily connected to the glass coffee pot. The pot itself was not abused or immersed in any sort of extreme hot or cold conditions. In my opinion, the quality of Mr. Coffee products seems to be worse every year. I will most likely be selecting a new brand for my next coffee maker.

Program doesn't work reliably

It gains time on clock, like 5 min./day. Also, the preset start time goes back to "12:00" every day so it must be manually reset back to the regular start time. Besides that, it works well to make coffee.
