Very poor product and information on usage.

I purchased this maker earlier this afternoon and will return it tomorrow afternoon. No manual was included in the box, no model number on the box (have to be a detective to find some numbers that might work), and going to the website does not take you to the manuals section just an extremely long listing of vague numbers.
Very disappointed in this product, Mr. Coffee used to be a brand you could trust.

Carafe broke within 3 months

I was so excited to get this programmable coffee maker so I could set it up to brew later. Unfortunately, only after 3 months of owning this, the carafe handle broke where it meets the glass and could not be used.

I bought this yesterday, set the clock, made a pot, it worked fine. I set the programable button to delay brew to 6 am (no am or pm by the way) At 7Am I got up and coffee had not brewed as the program did not work, I am looking for a manual as to how to correct this.

2. The brew later indicator will light up, showing that the coffeemaker is pre-set to brew at a later time. If you change your mind and wish to turn off the brew later feature, press the brew later button again and it will turn off. Once the Brew Later time is set, the coffeemaker will automatically remember it until you change it or unplug the machine.
Note: As a reminder, if you want to continue to use the brew later feature, you will have to press brew later each time. Your coffeemaker will not automatically start the next day.

I am not happy

Just brought home the programmable brew now/brew later. I have better uses for my time than to hunt on line for a manual, which apparently doesn't exist. A product's set up and use should either be obvious, or instructions should be included in the box. I chose 2 stars since I haven't even used the thing yet.

Wish I Had Read The Reviews Before Purchasing

We have used various Mr. Coffee makers for years. We now believe companies cut corners, make inferior products, and plan on customers purchasing more products sooner. We bought a Mr. Coffee maker by mistake a week ago without a program function. We decided to keep it. When rinsing out the pot, the glass cracked at the handle. We returned it and purchased a different brand that was programmable. We couldn't get the program to work, so we returned it and went back to our old tried and true, Mr. Coffee 12 cup, programmable coffee maker. After 3 different attempts, we could not get the program function to work. We looked for the manual online. Our model number was not included in that long list of models on the Mr. Coffee site. I had to enter the model number in "Search" and finally found our new coffeemaker, I think. After reading through the reviews, we now see that many customers have had problems with having no directions and problems getting the programmable part to work. You need to do better if you want to keep your regular customers, Mr. Coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m surprised reading these reviews. I popped on here because I broke my carafe and need to replace it. I have had zero issue with this coffee pot. I actually love it and we use it one-two times a day without issue! It functions great and the color is nice and cheery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the 12-cup programmable coffee maker by Mr. Coffee is a great way to brew your coffee now, or program it to brew later to save time. There's an auto pause in case you want to grab a cup before it's done brewing, and it has an auto shut-off so you don't have to worry if you forget to turn it off. It also comes with a reusable filter to save money on single use filters.
I would recommend this to a friend!
