I was VERY worried. I had a clogged bath drain, water stood for 48hrs! Now I probably wouldn't recommend but I placed 160oz, yep 2 80oz bottles, down the drain, waited 2 hours and was completely drained and good to go!!!

I've used the drano max gel for years and it used to be a great product. Melt out the clogs in a drain no problem. They have changed the formula because it isn't as thick of a liquid as it used to be and doesn't work as well. Very disappointing. Don't waste your money, buy a drain snake or hire a plumber because this does not work anymore as a drain clearing product.

Did not work on an almost complete blockage

I used the first half bottle waiting 15 min before flushing. I used the second half waiting 20 minutes before flushing. No noticeable improvement. Then had to neutralize the chemical so I could disassemble the drain and clean it by hand.
