It worked!!

I had a clogged kitchen and bathroom sink. When I used the kitchen sink, it would overflow into the bathroom sink. This went on for almost 2 days. Snaked it, didn't work. Used another cheap brand of drain liquid and it didn't work. Then got Drano Max Gel. The first application seemed to go down ok and I saw bubbles rising which mean it was breaking up the clog. I called the 1-800 on the bottle and a nice customer service representative helped me and assured me with a section application, it SHOULD work. After I flushed my sink with hot water, I added 1/5th of the bottle in both sinks for a second time. It was maybe 20 min after and I was about to flush with hot water when I heard a glug-glug sound. It WORKED! Thank you so much Drano! Saved me $$ on a plumber.

I've always known "if you have a clog, try drano!" I'm renting and my landlord isn't the best at getting things done fast. With only 1 shower and the drain currently not draining at all, I thought I should give it a try. After the first 1/2 of the bottle, let it sit for 30 mins, and flushing with hot water, nothing - just more water in the tub. So I tried again, letting it sit for an hour this time and nothing. So now what?

Don't bother spending your money

Purchase this product after spending close to 40-50 reading the small print on each of Draino products. Now I have to wait for Monday and call a plumber

Drano mag gel NOTHING on slow drain had 2 80 oz bottles

Over the course of a week I have put 160 oz of max gel down a very slow drain, last try i filled the sink with hot water added the last 24 to 32 oz and still no improvement

Did NOT unclog my drain I used the ENTIRE bottle and this was after I used the hair gel to unclog it…don’t waste your hard earned money the dollar store brand worked better

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My bathroom and shower sinks get clogged very easily because I have long hair. Drano is always my go to product. Drano is the only product that works well at unclogging my sinks and cleaning the pipes. I will always use Drano when I need to unclog my drains.
