I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. One of our bathtubs was getting clogged as we wash two dogs in there every week. I have used other store brand clog removers before, but not Drano Max Gel. I poured the recommended amount in the drain and waited the required length of time before flushing with hot water. It worked extremely well! The water goes down like it has never been clogged before. Great product, will definitely use again when needed!

I followed all the directions and it didn't work. Just a simple hair clog in the bathtub. Used the whole bottle still did not work. Waste of money and it is not cheap.

I followed the directions and after two applications the drain was just as slow as before. The label says guaranteed to clear total blockages or it's free. Your response to the other complaints says to call a plumber because the clog may be too far down for your product to work. Should have said that on the label rather than guaranteeing it. Very disappointed! I gave this one star because there was not an option for 0.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is the best drain unclogger I've used. I used an entire bottle of the cheap stuff first, and it did nothing. I poured 2 rounds of Drano and the amount of junk that came out of the drain was appalling. I don't think I followed the directions closely enough the first time, otherwise I probably wouldn't have needed to do it a second time. It doesn't smell strongly of chemicals. It almost smells... clean? Like bleach without the bleach smell, if that makes sense. I don't like using most cleaners because of the eye burning chemical smells but this stuff was fine. I'm really impressed with how well it worked. I'm hoping I don't have to use it very often (because honestly unclogging drains is disgusting) but if the need arises, this is the only product I'm going to use. You don't save money by using the cheap stuff, you just waste money. Spend the couple extra dollars and get this stuff. It even says on the label that you can get your money back if it doesn't work- but it actually works.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I'm not sure this worked as well I was hoping. Our bathroom sink has been very slow in draining. After using this product the sink drained a little quicker than before, but still did not totally fix the problem we have water draining slowly.

Sometimes the Zip It will do the trick but most often we need something more. The Drano Max Gel does the trick, and better than liquid drain clearers. I think the gel sticks to and dissolves the clogs better. One round of this did the trick for our drain and there is more for next time in this economically priced bottle.
