I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is my go to drain clog remover. It's so easy to use and has never failed me. For our household this removes hair and makeup/beauty product buildup.

My master bathroom sink became clogged so I first attempted to clear it with a plunger with no luck. I bought the drano max and after 3 hours, 3 attempts I had no luck. I'll call a plumber.

Drain Unclogging Attempt

I believe I followed the instructions correctly when attempting to unclog the drain. I poured the entire contents of a small bottle of Drano Max Gel Clog Remover down the drain. After applying the drain cleaner, I allowed 30 minutes for the chemicals to work on dissolving the clog as per the product directions. Once the recommended soak time elapsed, I used the shower faucet to flush the drain line with water. However, I only ran the hot/warm water for approximately 1 minute to rinse out the chemicals and dissolved debris. Initially, the drain appeared to be unclogged and functioning properly after this treatment when I took a shower. Unfortunately, the drain has now become clogged again after 4 days of normal use. While I made an effort to follow the Drano usage instructions, the 1 minute hot water flush may have been insufficient to fully clear the drain line, leading to the clog re-forming quickly after just a few days of use.

For kitchen sink i used two bottles of drano max gel overnight it does not a work a bit , i see standing water still in my kitchen sink .

I tried in the kitchen sink using 42oz - 1/2 bottle waited 30 minutes followed by hot water. Tried again using rest of the bottle waiting 30 minutes followed by hot water. Didn't work for me. Had to call plumber to get clog which was about 7 inches down, not further down the pipe or in the wall. Very disappointed with this product!!! Did not dissolve the clog at all!!
