Waste of money

I bought the 32 oz. bottle, hoping it would unclog the slow drain in my bathroom sink. I poured in half the bottle the first time and waited 20 minutes - it didn't work. I poured in the rest of the bottle and purposely waited for 30+ minutes, and it still didn't work. I'm really disappointed - I read all kinds of great things about this product online, so I was really hoping it would work, and it didn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great of standing clogs

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Drano Max Gel Clog Remover is one of the things that I like to keep on hand at all times. I use this product of a preventative a few times a year to try and clean out debris that might have built up in traps or other spots were water may stand in piping. Being proactive means I have to call the Roto Rooter guy less. For standing clogs, this works great as long as the clog is in a standing water area. I learned year ago that many bathroom sink clogs are build up on the drain plug, and this won't help you there.

Still waiting...over an hour

New kitchen drain installed 2 years ago. Drain started to slowly drain and eventually stopped flowing at all. Purchased Max Gel based on recommendation but it's not working. I could be a little more understanding if the pipes were 20 years old with years of build-up but this drain is fairly new

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The Drano worked very well. It got rid of the clog very fast and the water started draining again. I was able to pour it in the sink and it worked thru the standing water.

Huge Bottle Didn't Fix Tub Clog

I bought a huge bottle of the max gel and have used it 3 times for 30 minutes each to try to lessen the clog. It still barely drains :/

It worked surprisingly well on my very slow tub drain i doubled the reccomended amount and waited an hour before flushing hot water down the drain and now the tub drains better than it ever did
