Followed the instructions and used 16oz for my sink. 30mins of sitting and nothing was accomplished. What's more: I used the other half for my clogged bathtub and just like my sink, it's still clogged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest opinion. I've had a slow drain in my shower/bathtub for a few weeks, which during the course of a regular shower, I would end up standing in a couple of inches of water. I've used similar products in the past but have never found them to work very well. This particular product is marketed as one that is designed to work on slow drains, so I gave it a shot. I followed the directions exactly as written. I poured half the bottle down the drain and waited 30 minutes before flushing with hot water. In less than a minute, the drain was already backing up and creating standing water in the tub, so I waited for it to drain, and repeated the steps, which the directions indicate might be necessary on tougher clogs. I had my doubts, but used the rest of the bottle, waited a half hour later, flushed the drain again with hot water, and then taking a 25-minute shower. Surprisingly, the drain functioned properly, and I was never standing in a pool of water. So far, this product is working on my slow drain, but only time will tell. I've tried similar products that kept the drain open for about a week, but ultimately the slow drain returned and required maintenance to come with a snake to run all the way down the pipe. I'll keep thinking positively, though, because that snake makes such a mess. I'll post a follow up next week to let you know if this product was a long-term success or a temporary, quick fix.

I have been using the Drano Max gel for a few months after switching from different brand. I love this brand because it does the work. It's super easy to use like slowly pour the liquid into the drain and wait for about 30-45 mins before flushing with hot water. No tool needed. It's my best friend since then. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I usually would stick to the off brand Drano, just because it was cheaper. But I would have to purchase more product, which came out to the same as what I used for the one bottle of drano. My pipes had been getting clogged up and nothing was helping until I was able to use drano. It has a subtle chemical smell but nothing too bad.

The instructions on how to use the Drano are very simple and easy to follow. I poured the Drano in my kitchen sink to get the greasy buildup and food pieces out. I let it sit and then poured the hot water down the drain and I noticed the water went down a lot faster than before. I highly recommend this product for a quick and easy fix. The only thing I don't like is the chemical smell it gives off while it's sitting in the drain. Wish they had fresh scent fragrances. But I would definitely recommend to a friend!
