I bought the Drano Max Gel and followed the directions. I used half the container for the first application and the other half for my second attempt. No change at all to the clogged shower drain. So disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I read the directions and used half the bottle, waited 30 minutes and used boiling water. Nothing still a slow drain. I used the rest of the bottle and did the same and still the same thing.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've been having trouble with my laundry room drain on and off for years. It doesn't get completely clogged, but it is a slow drain, which is annoying when I have multiple loads to do. This product seemed to do the trick. The only things I didn't like were the bleachy smell and the fact that you are instructed to use so much at a time (half a bottle). After following the instructions and using very hot water, the drain issue is no more! I'm very pleased with my purchase.
