I bought this product to unclog my tub drain. I follow the instructions and it did not work. I even waited hours and tried again the next morning and still clogged. I don't think this product can back up what it's putting down...it's a shame it was a waste. I had high hopes for it.

Claims to work guaranteed or it's free, but I don't know how

My bathroom sink drain was VERY slow. My husband's identical drain works great. I used a whole jug (80 oz.) of Drano Max Gel, in 3 installments, waiting each time before "flushing" with hot water. When I turned on the hot water, with the drain open, it quickly accumulated to a depth of about 2 inches, and when I turned off the water, it took 25 or 30 seconds to drain. Not much different from before I used the Drano. Not impressed. The jug said to come to www.drano.com for the details on "Guaranteed or it's free," but I couldn't find any such details. My advice is to try a different brand.

This product has worked for me a lot in the past. We live in an area that is all septic tanks, Its hard to find a drain cleaner that actually works. /this time i'm afraid it didn't live up to expectations. After using a Value Size (80oz) The Clog still remains. We are having a plumber come in to oour home to have the problem corrected I am not angry I am disappointed We have lived in this old house for over 30 years after my Inlaws passed away. they lived here 45 years before us We have never had a problem with our drains. We do use your products to keep the line clear however since my husband passed i let it slip over two years I will continue to use all of your family Products with no hesitation

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I purchased Drano max gel clog remover. It says that it is guaranteed to clear packages. I use this on a slow drain that had hair in it. I followed the directions and used approximately half the bottle and waited and then rinsed with hot water. The drain does seem to be running faster now, but I might use the rest of the bottle to clear anything else out. It's a thick liquid with a strong smell so make sure there is ample ventilation. I would purchase this product again.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review, i like the product. We always get our bathroom tubs and sinks blocked because of my long hair. I used many products but they used to clean temporarily and clog again in no time. But drano does a good job without leaving awful smell, finally a good product but expensive
